Almighty God, giver of ever good gift, You richly bless Saint Andrew’s Church:

Look graciously on this congregation -

Lead us in our time of transition -

Keep us looking forward into your future -

Increase our faith and trust in you for all things -

Guide us as we prepare for and choose the next Vicar for Saint Andrew’s Church

that we may receive a faithful pastor and priest, who will care for your people and equip us for our ministries; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Profile Committee Update

November

We would like to thank all of you for participating in the small group meetings and the survey. If you have not returned your survey, please do so- as soon as possible.

We will incorporate the valuable information you have given us into a profile of St. Andrew’s. The committee will be produce a brochure that is designed to inform possible vicar candidates about our church, community and the good works that we do all in the name of Jesus. Please continue to pray for the Profile and Search Committees.

Profile Committee Report 

The goal of the Profile Committee in the search for a priest is to organize, research and create a publication that can be sent out to prospective priests who may be interested in coming to St. Andrew’s. Therefore, the Profile Committee, in an attempt to involve our members, will conduct two meetings for the purpose of determining what each member believes is important in a new Vicar. 

The meetings will be held on Sunday, October ₇th and Sunday, October ₁₄th immediately after the service and will be as brief as possible. Please plan to attend one of these meetings. Prior to the meeting, please be thinking about your past, present and future experiences and dreams for our church. 

The Profile Committee is composed of the following members: Dixie Graham, Lauren Reiss, Pauly Luneborg, John Link, Bob Timmons and Jane Stout. Thus far, the committee has met several times and will meet as often as necessary until the project is completed. Ideally, we would like to have the publication to the printer by mid-December. Please keep the search for our new vicar in your prayers.
